Sleuteltechnologieën

Sleuteltechnologieën vormden in 2025 opnieuw het fundament onder de innovatieaanpak van Holland High Tech. Als coördinator van de Kennis- en Innovatieagenda Sleuteltechnologieën zette Holland High Tech zich in voor het agenderen, programmeren en verbinden van technologische ontwikkelingen die bepalend zijn voor het toekomstige verdienvermogen en de strategische positie van Nederland. Daarbij stonden niet alleen technologische doorbraken centraal, maar ook de vertaling naar nieuwe waardeketens, control points en maatschappelijke toepassingen. De Nationale Technologiestrategie bleef in 2025 richtinggevend voor deze prioritering. Holland High Tech maakte zich voor en vanuit de KIA ST sterk voor de totstandkoming van de tien actieagenda’s.

In 2025 kreeg de inzet op sleuteltechnologie-ontwikkeling concreet vorm via publiek-private samenwerking, MKB-instrumenten, de HTSM Call en verdere programmering. Holland High Tech zette onder meer de KIEM HighTech-regeling voort, waarmee praktijkgerichte innovatievraagstukken vanuit het MKB in samenwerking met kennisinstellingen werden ondersteund. Daarnaast werden sleuteltechnologieën verder verankerd in de strategische programmering van Holland High Tech, onder meer via nieuwe programma’s zoals Advanced chip packaging 2025–2027. Ook werd in 2025 verder gewerkt aan de actieagenda’s van de Nationale Technologiestrategie, waarin technologische ambities zijn vertaald naar 53 concrete innovatieprogramma’s. Deze actieagenda’s geven ook inhoudelijk sturing in zes van de tien innovatiedomeinen van Holland High Tech.

Een brug tussen sleuteltechnologieën en defensie-innovatie

Met de MKB Defensie Call verbindt Holland High Tech de sleuteltechnologieën uit de Nationale Technologiestrategie direct aan de NLD-gebieden van Defensie. De call stimuleert hightech MKB-bedrijven om samen met onderzoeksorganisaties dual-use innovaties te ontwikkelen voor de thema’s Space, Quantum en Smart Materials. Zo slaat Holland High Tech een concrete brug tussen sleuteltechnologieën uit de Nationale Technologiestrategie, defensie-innovatie en publiek-private R&D.

Semicon en mondiale zichtbaarheid

Ook bestuurlijk en internationaal werd voortgang geboekt. De versterking van het semicon-ecosysteem kreeg onder meer vorm in de bredere positionering van Semiconductor Technologies als innovatiedomein en de deelname van voorzitter Peter Stolk in de Semicon Board NL. Verder is er op vele vlakken, voor en achter de schermen, gewerkt aan de de zichtbaarheid van Nederlandse sleuteltechnologieën in internationale samenwerking en missiegedreven programmering.

Sleuteltechnologieën in context

Tijdens het Holland High Tech Networking Event 2025 stond de inhoudelijke betekenis van sleuteltechnologieën nadrukkelijk centraal. In gesprekken en presentaties werd de relatie uitgewerkt tussen de Nationale Technologiestrategie en innovatiedomeinen waaronder quantum, fotonica en energy materials. Daarbij lag de nadruk niet alleen op het belang van deze technologieën op zichzelf, maar juist op hun rol in het aanpakken van maatschappelijke en economische vraagstukken.

Zo heeft Holland High Tech in 2025 sleuteltechnologieën verder verankerd als centrale bouwsteen van zijn innovatiekoers: van mkb-ondersteuning en PPS-programmering tot de uitwerking van de Nationale Technologiestrategie en de versterking van het Nederlandse hightech- en deeptech-ecosysteem.
